For 28 years, Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) has trained young people in Arizona incorporating real life lessons with all aspects of the theatre arts.

VYT Classes & Camps are for EVERY SKILL LEVEL!
VYT Classes & Camps are especially geared towards fostering young performers in developing and honing their acting and stage presence skills while teaching life-skills, enriching self-esteem, building confidence and broadening horizons.
VYT Classes are offered in the FALL, WINTER and SPRING and run from September through May in 8-week sessions. Students ages 3 to 17 can enhance their skills in various performing arts fields including: voice, acting, improvisation, dance, creative drama and more.
Spring Break Camp for ages 7 to 15 inspire youth to sing, dance and perform while school in out! Week-long sessions take place during March and April.
Summer Camps for ages 5 to 15 are offered each year in June and July. Professional instructors teach exciting and valuable lessons in acting, singing and dance. Campers are taken behind-the-scenes to experience the magic and secrets that occur backstage. Friends and family will be treated to a performance on the last day of camp worthy of a standing ovation.
VYT Field Trips are designed for classroom integration. Special school day performances are timed so students can attend shows during the school day. Question and answer opportunities with the cast are a fun way for students to discover fun behind-the-scenes facts about the performance.
Study guides are a great way to extend student learning beyond the performance. They are designed to accompany student field trips and the LTA program. They include production information, theatre etiquette, creative conversation starters, writing portfolios suggestions and integrated activities and discussion questions for before and after the show.
(LTA) Literacy and the Arts is a program to benefit students attending Title 1 schools. The LTA program improves the lives of underserved and at-risk youth by enhancing their enthusiasm for reading; strengthening their comprehension skills, and increasing their exposure to the performing arts.
