Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) is proud to announce our 2010-2011 Performing Arts Class Schedule. This season we will offer several children's theatre classes that will provide professional training for theatre enthusiasts ages 3-17. For 21 years, VYT has trained young people in Arizona in all aspects of the theatre arts and the lessons of life. Our comprehensive program offers weekday and weekend classes as well as week-long workshops for performing arts students of all experience levels. We provide workshops which focus on Acting Technique, Acting for Teens, Musical Theatre, Improvisation, Story-Telling and Play Building, Audition Prep, plus one-on-one instruction.

VYT guest instructors include local artists Jef Rawls, Leah Long and Stage Combat Expert, David Barker as well as Kelli James (Broadway's Les Miserables) and Anthony Rapp (Broadway's Rent and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown as well as the Oscar-winning film A Beautiful Mind). VYT's Performing Arts Classes are designed to provide students with a well-rounded musical theatre education.
