If You Build It, They Will Come

Valley Youth Theatre performs in its own renovated facility in Copper Square, Downtown Phoenix.

Located on the southeast corner of First Street and Fillmore, the old storefront was gutted in 1998 and rebuilt to include a 30-foot wide proscenium stage with orchestra pit, 202 seat continental-style audience seating, a stunning lobby with box office, as well as the necessary "backstage" areas: a lighting and sound booth, small scene and costume shops, and rehearsal and dressing rooms.

Thanks to the generosity of The Andrew Family and AFC Public Foundation (a support foundation of the Arizona Community Foundation), the theatre is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system. Valley Youth Theatre's theatrical lighting system, marquee and signage have been made possible by a grant from The Don Nierling Foundation.

Our facility is available for rentals, and can house anything from small business meetings & lectures, to live performance events that do not require wing space or a fly house. Corporate and Non-Profit rates available.
